The Meaning of Baptism

Baptism is symbolic of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. “ Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead ..... ( Romans 6:3-4)

Why Should I Get Baptized?

Christians are those who believe in Jesus for our salvation and do as He commands.
Jesus commands that His followers be Baptized because it is a sign and seal of His promise to baptize His people with the Holy Spirit.
It's very simple answer, because Jesus said so.

When Should I Get Baptized?

The Bible teaches that there is no reason to delay your baptism. After becoming a believer, you should participate in the next available opportunity your church provides for baptism. If you wait until you feel you are a “good enough” believer, you will never feel ready for baptism.
“Those who believed were baptized that day.” (Acts 2:41)

Who Should Get Baptized?

Acts 2:38 "Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins."
The Bible teaches that baptism should follow salvation. There are two important points we should take from this. First, you should be old enough to be able to personally recognize your own sins and repent from them. Second, baptism should immediately follow repentance. You shouldn't wait.
